The Art Therapist conducts personalized therapy sessions for veterans, assisting those with cognitive and physical limitations, leading therapeutic art activities, documenting session progress weekly, and actively contributing to interdisciplinary team meetings for enhanced communication and unity. Primary Responsibilities: Deliver outpatient art therapy services to enhance patients' well-being and progress. Conduct intakes and oversee individual and occasional family therapies. Develop and adapt treatment plans, conducting regular reviews as needed. Perform mental health assessments, offering art therapy/counseling and intervention services. Maintain comprehensive and accurate documentation in line with federal and state guidelines. Requirements: Certification as a Registered Art Therapist (ATR) or Registered Board-Certified Art Therapist (ATR-BC). Master's degree in Art Therapy or related counseling field, with master’s level Art Therapy certification. Preferred experience working with individuals facing developmental and physical disabilities. Military background is advantageous. Proficient computer skills.
