We have an opportunity available for an Artic Truck Driver, based out of North Dublin.
Hours: 8am to 6pm
Weekly Net Pay (Take-home): €850 to €880 depending on experience - higher side for ADR qualified drivers.
Ensure the safe, compliant, and efficient operation of articulated trucks, supporting the timely delivery and collection of goods across regional and national routes

EXPERIENCE & KNOWLEDGE

  • Previous experience operating articulated trucks in a professional capacity.
  • Good overall understanding of commercial vehicle driving regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Strong knowledge of Dublin routes and surrounding areas preferred.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Licences & Certifications: Hold and maintain a valid CE licence, CPC card, and Digital Tachograph Driver Card, ensuring all remain current and legally compliant.
  • Regulations: Adhere to all road traffic legislation, health & safety requirements, and internal company procedures at all times.
  • Record Keeping: Complete all delivery, collection, and vehicle documentation accurately and in a timely manner.

Responsibilities
  • Carry out deliveries and collections of palletised freight.
  • Safely operate articulated trucks on assigned routes, ensuring accurate and timely transportation of goods.
  • Plan and follow efficient routes, making adjustments as required for traffic, weather, and delivery schedules.
  • Conduct routine vehicle checks and basic maintenance, promptly reporting any defects or issues to maintain roadworthiness and safety.
  • Represent the company positively through courteous and respectful interactions with customers.
  • Manage any delivery or collection difficulties quickly and effectively, escalating to the Transport/Driver Manager when necessary.
