Our Dublin based client are looking for a Senior Engineer, AI to join their team on a permanent basis

For this role they are looking for an individual who has experience in AI as it's a major part of the role and journey this company are on

You will be part of a growing team and be the subject matter expert for AI Development in Dublin The position is with a well established company who are a market leader in their sector.

Responsibilities:Define and implement the AI architecture and standards
Lead on the overall AI strategy, roadmap
Research the relevant AI tools to solve specific business problems
Lead on the proof-of-concept (PoC) trials for new technologies and manage relationships with AI vendors and consultants.
Design and deliver AI, automation, and data solutions across various departments in the company.
Cross collaboration and engagement is a key skill
Integrate AI capabilities into ERP, APIs, and enterprise platforms
Establish ethical, secure, and GDPR‑compliant AI guardrails
Leadership in a hands-on and highly technical role
Manage and mentor a team and help to hire

Requirements: 7+ years of software development or architecture experience, with at least 3-4 years in senior or management level roles
Have significant experience architecting and building enterprise-wide cloud-native solutions.
Programming skills and a background in Python
Ideally have exposure to projects for Digital Transformation
Gen AI and Intelligent systems that include LLM, RAG and Agentic
AI Hands on experience with Gen AI systems would be an advantage
