Prevailance is seeking an experienced and mission-focused professional to support Headquarters (HQ) Supreme Allied Commander Transformation’s (SACT) as an Artificial Intelligence (AI) Engineer.
The AI Engineer will play a critical role in integrating AI-driven solutions into wargaming activities, enhancing scenario development, analysis, adjudication, and human-machine collaboration. This position requires a deep understanding of AI technologies, particularly generative AI and machine learning, with the ability to apply them to military simulation and decision-making processes.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum of six (6) years (within the last eight years) of experience in data science, machine learning, or AI engineering in a professional setting
• Minimum of five (5) years (within the last eight years) of experience integrating AI technologies into practical applications, preferably in simulation or wargaming contexts
• Minimum of five (5) years of proficiency in AI and machine learning frameworks and tools such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and scikit-learn
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience working with generative AI models, particularly Large Language Models (LLMs) like GPT-3 or GPT-4
• Minimum of five (5) years (within the last eight years) of experience in data collection, analysis, and visualization using tools such as Python, R, Tableau, or Power BI
• Minimum of five (5) years (within the last eight years) of experience providing technical guidance and support to teams with varying levels of AI expertise
• Experience managing AI-related projects, including planning, execution, and analytical reporting
• Demonstrated ability to design and conduct experiments to test AI applications in real-world scenarios
• Demonstrated understanding of wargaming principles and methodologies, with proven ability to apply AI to enhance wargaming scenarios
• Understanding of data security principles and best practices to ensure data integrity and confidentiality in AI applications
• Knowledge of Multi-Domain Operations (MDO) and military strategic, operational, and tactical planning
• Strong ability to communicate complex AI concepts effectively to non-technical stakeholders
• Proven ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional and cross-directorate teams
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and collaborative software
• US Citizen required
• US / NATO Member Country Passport required

EDUCATION:

• Master’s degree in Data Science, Machine Learning (ML), Artificial Intelligence (AI), Computer Science, or a related field
• At least four (4) years of professional experience in Data Science, ML, or AI within the last five years may be an acceptable substitute

• Collaborate with wargaming experts to identify key areas where AI can enhance wargaming activities such as wargaming design, scenario development, analysis, adjudication, and support to human teams
• Support development of a roadmap for the integration of AI into wargaming
• Integrate traditional AI methods and generative AI (Large Language Models/LLMs) into wargaming, improving strategic depth and execution of wargames
• Enhance scenario development by creating supplementary pre-briefing materials such as videos and adversary modeling
• Develop real-time analytics and visualizations to support decision-making during wargaming simulations using tools such as Power BI
• Support human-machine teaming by integrating AI tools that enhance collaboration between human participants and AI systems
• Design and conduct experiments to test the effectiveness of AI applications in wargaming scenarios
• Document and present findings from AI integration experiments to stakeholders, proposing continuous improvements
