OVERVIEW

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Voice Engineer to join our dynamic IT team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in network engineering and telecommunications, with expertise in voice technologies and infrastructure and how the skills to make real life voice over video or audio’s for filming purposes.

EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in network engineering with a focus on voice technologies (VoIP).
  • Strong knowledge of routing protocols (OSPF, BGP), network management tools (SolarWinds, PRTG), and firewall configurations.
  • Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, Azure) and virtualization technologies (VMware).
  • Experience with operating systems including Linux distributions (Debian, CentOS, Ubuntu) and Windows environments.
  • Understanding of authentication methods (LDAP, SSO) and encryption protocols (SSL).
  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies and DevOps practices is preferred.

Responsibilities
  • Design, implement, and maintain voice communication systems, ensuring high availability and performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate voice solutions within existing IT infrastructure.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot network performance issues related to VoIP and telecommunication systems.
  • Conduct vulnerability assessments and implement security measures for voice networks.
  • Manage WAN, LAN, and data center environments to support voice applications.
  • Provide technical support for network installation, configuration, and maintenance of Cisco routers, firewalls (Cisco ASA), and other networking equipment.
  • Utilize scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) for automation of network tasks and system administration.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards for cloud security and network protocols (TCP/IP, UDP).
  • Document network architecture, configurations, and procedures for future reference.
