PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

• Proven Project & Program Management experience in dynamic and competitive industry, particularly within Software Development or Engineering based organizations
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Horizontal leadership/Matrix management experience is required, People management is desirable
• Flexible working schedule to manage global program execution team (Asia and North America emphasis)
• PMP certification is desirable
• Experience collaborating with globally distributed teams
• Agile development or certification is a bonus

Responsibilities:

THE ROLE:

As the Program Manager, you will have the opportunity to manage End-to-End ownership of overall solutions for innovative products. Solid program management of various software development teams, monitoring the quality of the resulting software deliverables and a strong partnership with the customer support teams are the key focus area of this role. As a Program Manager in AMD’s AI engineering division, you will oversee end-to-end delivery of cutting-edge AI/ML software stacks for AMD Client (e.g., Ryzen), Embedded, and Server (e.g., EPYC) processors. You will explore the potential of open-source software to address real-world challenges and collaborate with product management, customers, software and hardware engineering teams, quality assurance, and operations within a rapidly expanding team. Additionally, you will gain exposure to state-of-the-art AI/ML models in diverse fields.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Plan and execute programs focusing on quality and deadlines
• Drives completion of all required deliverables, with a focus on customer quality feedback and established deadlines
• Creates and maintains project management artifacts such as schedule, resource and resource forecast, risk and issues logs
• Provides unique views of project status updates and facilitates cross development team dependencies and communications
• Identify action or mitigation plans for issues or risks that arise during the project lifecycle
• Collaborates with core teams and execution teams to identify areas that require special attention or escalations to identify corrective actions
• Collect, analyze, organize and publish work performance data via dashboards and recurring status reports
• Strong self-motivator, with a sense of urgency when needed and strong crisis management skills
• Work with Marketing and Product Management in delivering focused solutions to critical customers, ISVs, and OEMs
• Own resource tracking, status reporting, and issue communication to key partners, including senior executives and customersPrepare and deliver project status updates and reviews to internal stakeholders
