You will be working alongside a young and creative team of 10 other qualified bakers/pastry chefs crafting our pies, pastries, and sourdough.
You will be working with state-of-the-art equipment, in an air-conditioned kitchen using only the best of the best fresh ingredients to ensure we craft our products to the highest standard: our butter is imported from Belgium, and our flour is milled in Tamworth to Rick’s specifications.
You will have the opportunity to further your passion and your experience in a first-class bakery while living and working in one of the most beautiful and livable regions of Queensland.
Rick’s Artisan Pies and Sourdough is one of the busiest bakeries on the Sunshine Coast turning out award-winning pies, pastries, and sourdough for the past five years.
Our team enjoys a work-life balance, unlike many other bakeries. This position is a full-time role from Tuesday to Saturday. The bakery is closed for most public holidays and for a few weeks over the Christmas holiday period.
Rick’s is a very busy bakery, so the successful candidate should be a proven performer backed with excellent references. Rick’s offers a generous salary based on experience.
