QUALIFICATIONS

  • 2 ans ou plus d’expérience en tant qu’artiste visuel sur des séries animées TV ou des longs métrages d’animation.
  • Expérience préalable en animation télévisée ou en long métrage d’animation requise. Une connaissance du pipeline d’animation 3D est un plus.
  • Maîtrise de Photoshop requise. Connaissance de Maya souhaitée. Connaissance de Unreal Engine est un atout.
  • Bonne compréhension de la manière dont les concepts et les vues de rotation (turnarounds) de personnages, accessoires et décors se traduisent en designs 3D.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 2+ Years working in visual artist role on episodic TV animation or feature film animation.
  • Prior experience working in TV or feature Animation required. Knowledge of CG Animation Pipeline is a plus.
  • Knowledge of photoshop required. Knowledge of Maya preferred. Knowledge of Unreal is a plus.
  • Understands how concepts and turnarounds for characters, props and sets will translate into 3D designs.
Responsibilities
  • Works with Producers and Art Director to provide artistic and technical support to the modeling and texture teams.
  • Provide designs for assets (characters, environments, props, vehicles, etc.) as per the art delivery schedule defined by Production and the Art Director, and in accordance with the visual standards of the show.
  • Executes secondary production design when needed.
  • Reviews asset list, design breakdowns, and schedules with production.
  • Works closely with the department leads to ensure designs are accurate and technical requirements are met for CG production. Participates in thorough QC- ing of designs in preparation for handoff to production.
  • Is able to provide draw-overs for notes and take on design work when needed.
  • Participates and gives feedback in asset reviews and dailies. Provides paint- overs for assets when needed.
