Description

ABOUT US

We’re Imperial Health Charity, an organisation that helps our hospitals do more through grants, arts, volunteering, and fundraising. We support the five hospitals of Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust: Charing Cross, Hammersmith, Queen Charlotte’s & Chelsea, St Mary’s, and the Western Eye.
We are now looking for an Arts Administrator to join us on a full-time, permanent basis, working 35 hours per week.

Responsibilities

As an Arts Administrator, you will provide essential support to our curatorial and engagement programmes, ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of activities.
Specifically, you will be the first point of contact for the Arts team, managing the shared inbox and ensuring enquiries relating to donations, project proposals and events are responded to promptly.
Alongside this, you’ll co-ordinate our Staff Arts Club, helping hospital colleagues enjoy free creative opportunities by producing newsletters, supporting events, managing guest lists and maintaining strong relationships with our partner galleries.
Working closely with the Curator and Assistant Curator, you’ll support the delivery of the visual arts programme by managing collections data, carrying out collections care tasks, and liaising with external contractors to ensure projects are delivered on time.
Additionally, you will:
- Oversee the running of the Royal Albert Hall ticket ballot
- Draft stories for digital channels, producing content for the website
- Support temporary exhibitions by preparing agreements, reports and materials
- Assist with the acquisition of new artworks
- Help deliver art tours to small groups of staff, volunteers and colleagues
