Our department of Library & Cultural Services is seeking a dynamic Arts & Cultural Coordinator to join the team. In this position, you will work with staff and students to play a pivotal role in supporting arts and cultural performances and activities across the University, including our theatre, galleries, Manchester Poetry Library fostering a culture of public engagement.

Responsibilities

As the Arts & Cultural Coordinator you will contribute to supporting students, academics and a wide range of partners, foster a positive work culture, and help shape a vibrant programme here at Manchester Metropolitan University.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Ensure the professional delivery of high-quality arts and cultural performances and activities including, but not limited to, the University theatre, galleries, and Manchester Poetry Library.
  • Be a proactive front of house manager and provide an excellent experience to stakeholders and customers.
  • Engage with suppliers and partners, internal and external, to plan and deliver excellent arts and cultural activities.
  • Provide effective and efficient administrative support including contracting for arts and cultural activities.
