ABOUT US:

We are a market leading supplier of furniture, artwork and themed bric a brac to the brewery, restaurant and hotel industry.

SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • Artwork framing experience and ability preferred but not essential
  • Ability to plan and organise workflow to achieve production targets
  • Understand the importance of efficient labour and material use
  • Ability to motivate staff to work efficiently
  • Good verbal communications to enable understanding of requirements
  • Initiative to recommend solutions and/or improvements where appropriate
  • Dependable and responsible with a strong work ethic
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines
  • Flexibility when following instructions on priority of workflow

Responsibilities
  • Work under the direction of the Artwork Production Manager
  • Ensure products are manufactured to the appropriate timelines and deadlines
  • Aid in the manufacturing process in order to maintain efficiency
  • Plan labour allocation ahead of time for efficient workflow
  • Seek to be efficient as possible in the use of workshop materials
  • Ensure the quality of items produced is to the appropriate standard
  • Raise immediate delays in production to the production manager
  • Conduct regular performance reviews to promote employee development
  • Train new and existing staff as required Be responsible for workshop employees adhering to the company health and safety policy
  • Be responsible for workshop employees adhering to company policy as set out in the company handbook
  • Ensure stock of workshop materials and sundries are maintained
  • Ensure a basic level of house keeping and tidiness is maintained
  • Ensure workshop machinery and tools are serviced regularly, organising maintenance and repairs as required
  • Attend production meetings and monthly management meetings as required
    This role is based on a 42.50 working week ( Monday-Friday)
    Additional pay for any overtime.
