Job Description This role is fully remote and requires strong expertise in IBM i/AS400 systems, combined with effective communication skills in French and English. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the stability, performance, and security of our core banking systems. Key Responsibilities System Administration: Manage, monitor, and optimize AS400/IBM i environments. Maintenance & Support: Ensure system availability, troubleshoot issues, and provide technical support. Performance & Security: Implement best practices for system performance, backups, and disaster recovery. Collaboration: Work closely with business and IT teams to align system capabilities with organizational needs. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to modernize and streamline AS400 operations. Requirements Experience: Minimum 5–7 years of professional experience in AS400/IBM i administration. Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of AS400 operations, CL programming, job scheduling, and system monitoring tools. Languages: French and English at B1/B2 level (professional working proficiency). Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration abilities. Work Setup: Ability to work independently in a full remote environment. Preferred Qualifications Experience in the banking or financial services sector. Familiarity with IBM Power Systems and modernization projects. Knowledge of security and compliance standards in financial institutions.
