Experience with Change management tool software specifically Aldon (Rocket Software). 5 years of developing IBM Operating Systems (OS/400) 5 years of development ILE RPG, RPGLE, CL, SQL 3 years IBM Rational Developer for I (RDI) 5 years with DB2/400 3 years Visual Studio Code, Typescript (Java Script) 3 years Source Control tools (Git, Azure DevOps) 3 years MS Teams, Service Now, SharePoint, Jira, MS Planner Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Information Technology, or a related field is commonly expected. At least 2-5 years of professional experience in programming, systems analysis, or software development. Aldon / Rocket Software, change management tool Postman collaboration platform for API Development Application Development & Maintenance Write, test, and debug programs using ILE RPG (RPG IV), CL, and SQL. Modify existing applications to improve performance or adapt to new requirements. Maintain and support existing API applications. Systems Analysis Analyze user requirements and translate them into technical specifications. Participate in the design of new systems or enhancements within the ERP Application. Database Management Work with DB2 for i to design, query, and maintain relational databases. Optimize data access and ensure data integrity across applications. Maintain and enhance CL Programs, and interactive screens. Project Support Collaborate with business analysts and end-users to gather requirements. Contributes to project planning activities. Provides application support, including off hours when needed. Understands and follows existing department processes and procedures. Follows Mercury's project development methodology standards and procedures to include preparing appropriate project documentation. Documentation & Compliance Create and maintain technical documentation, including program specs and user guides. Ensure compliance with internal standards and external regulations (e.g., SOX if applicable). Collaboration & Support Provide production support and troubleshoot issues in live environments. Work closely with Business to ensure proper testing and validation. Support and assist business with new or updated systems.
