Role Title Sr Software Engineer Department Engineering and Application services Team RPG Team Reports To Solution Engineer Job Type Full-time, Mon-Fri Overall Job Purpose This role is within the Engineering and Application Services area of the Domestic & General (D&G) Product and Technology Department. The position is based at D&G’s headquarters in Wimbledon, London. The role is working alongside the Software engineering team to deliver secure, high quality, fully tested new and amendments to existing features working as part of a scrum team. The solution should be secure by design, include monitoring and logging for trouble shooting. In addition, step in for Solution Engineer as and when required. Key Responsibilities On a day-to-day basis the role will involve: • Take requirements and create technical designs working with Architects and/or engineering teams to be completed within agreed timeframe. • Have a deep security awareness and create secure-by design. • specifications and solutions that include monitoring and logging that can help with trouble shooting. • Solutions to be documented including assumptions and out of scope

Responsibilities

The role involves creating technical designs and delivering secure, high-quality features as part of a scrum team. Additionally, the candidate will provide support for the Solution Engineer as required.
