We are looking to recruit an experienced Anti Social Behaviour Officer in Liverpool on behalf of a well-established housing association on a temporary contract for a minimum of 3 months. This is a hybrid role with mileage reimbursement paid, working 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

Your new role

• Triaging and investigating all cases of anti-social behaviour, hate crime ,safeguarding and other tenancy breaches across the region
• Gathering evidence and witness statements, preparing pre-court paperwork, court applications and self-representing in court where required
• Using early intervention tools to minimise and tackle cases of ASB
• Visiting victims, perpetrators and witnesses in their homes whilst supporting & preparing individuals for court attendance
• Responding to complaints and enquiries from local MPs and customers in relation to Tenancy Enforcement issues
• Representing the group at liaison meetings including joint action group meetings

What you’ll need to succeed

• Experience of working within a housing/tenancy enforcement setting with a good understanding of housing legislation including tenancy management & ASB
• Experience of self-representation and liaising with Solicitors and other legal experts
• Experience of taking witness statements and familiar with relevant legal documentation
• Full driving licence with access to own vehicle and valid business insurance
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ablity to communicate effectively with people at all levels including vulnerable tenants
