JOB SUMMARY

An experienced abatement supervisor is dependable, professional, and committed. They have completed work that is more complex than normal jobs and have honed their customer service to an excellent level. An experienced supervisor is expected to meet with their team to ensure the efficiency, growth, and personal experience of each team member under their care. Above all, they are responsible for maintaining and directing a safe and efficient work site.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • 2 - 5 years experience as an abatement supervisor
  • Must have Level 1, 2, 3 and S Asbestos Certifications
  • Class 5 driver’s license
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills including conflict resolution abilities
  • Great time management and organizational abilities
  • Ability to work well under pressure
  • Ability to problem solve
  • Ability to motivate, encourage and build teams
  • Demonstrate support for innovation, and departmental change
  • Possess leadership qualities and willing to further develop leadership competencies
  • Participate in the On-Call rotation

JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Providing up to date communication and photographs to Managers and their teams regarding the status of the work being performed.
  • Completing related tasks by performing all technical duties required, such as general demolition, asbestos, lead and mould remediation, and building containments.
  • Adhere to all health and safety policies and procedures set out by the company’s health and safety program.
  • Maintaining a neat and orderly company vehicle if assigned.
  • Working collaboratively with demolition, construction, carpentry, and content teams.
  • Communicating with customers, co-workers, and project managers.
  • Ensuring all necessary paperwork is completed in detail.
  • Completing timecard daily
    *Experience in Emergency Fire and Flood Restoration is an asset, but we also provide on-site training!
