Kean Miller is seeking an experienced Asbestos Litigation Attorney in our Baton Rouge office. Qualified candidates will possess a minimum of seven (7) years of litigation experience with a primary focus on asbestos litigation, toxic-tort defense, products liability, and industrial operations litigation. Candidates must be capable of developing and executing sophisticated litigation strategies and handling all phases of asbestos and exposure-related litigation, including case evaluation, discovery management, expert development, motion practice, depositions, and trial preparation. Experience working with corporate clients, insurers, and national coordinating council is essential. The candidate should possess the following characteristics: Minimum of 7 years’ defense experience in asbestos or toxic-tort litigation Experience representing corporate defendants in occupational-exposure matters, including asbestos, chemical exposure, and product-liability claims Strong litigation background with experience in complex, multi-party and multi-district cases Experience coordinating discovery, developing experts, and managing large volumes of technical and operational evidence Ability to independently handle depositions, hearings, and motion practice, and to collaborate effectively with national counsel and sophisticated corporate clients What Kean Miller Offers We offer a people-first culture, meaningful work, competitive salaries, and an extensive benefits package that includes health, life, disability, dental, vision coverage and 401(k).
