REQUIREMENTS:

  • At least 12 months of experience working as an Asbestos Surveyor for a UKAS accredited company
  • P402 certification is essential; additional asbestos modules are a plus
  • Strong understanding of asbestos-related regulations, guidelines, and best practices
  • Effective communication skills to interact with clients, contractors, and team members
  • Flexibility to travel to client premises as required
  • Clean UK driving license

Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive asbestos surveys in various residential and commercial properties, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements using TEAMS software.
  • Collect samples, perform visual inspections, and accurately record data to assess the presence and condition of asbestos-containing materials.
  • Complete lab paperwork accurately, including the timely posting of Bulk Samples.
  • Deliver all asbestos services to the highest standards as set out in current and relevant HSE legislation, in line with UKAS accreditation and company procedures.
  • Engage in personal growth to achieve full competency and certification in all consultancy areas outlined in this job description.
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive work environment by actively participating in team meetings, sharing knowledge with trainees, and supporting colleagues.
