REGISTERED NURSE (RN) LOCATION: SARASOTA (ASC), FL 34239 JOB SUMMARY We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) team in Sarasota, FL. The RN will provide high-quality nursing care to patients undergoing outpatient surgical procedures, ensuring safety, comfort, and optimal outcomes. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES * Provide pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative nursing care to patients in the ASC setting. * Monitor patient vital signs and condition, recognizing and responding to changes promptly. * Assist physicians and surgical staff during procedures as needed. * Educate patients and their families regarding surgical procedures, post-operative care, and discharge instructions. * Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with regulatory standards. * Ensure a safe, clean, and organized environment in accordance with infection control and safety protocols. * Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary team members to optimize patient care. QUALIFICATIONS * Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Florida. * Minimum of 1 year nursing experience, preferably in surgical or ambulatory care settings. * Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred. * Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. * Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. WORK ENVIRONMENT This position is based in an Ambulatory Surgery Center located in Sarasota, FL. The role involves standing for extended periods, direct patient care, and occasional lifting of patients or equipment.
