Job Title: ASE B Mechanic Location: Cleveland, OH Employment Type: Full-Time flexible shifts may be required Pay Range: $58,000 – $62,400 annually, based on experience and qualifications. Position Summary MyCity Transportation is seeking a skilled Fleet Mechanic / Automotive Technician to support a mixed fleet of paratransit vehicles. This role is responsible for performing preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs to ensure vehicles are safe, reliable, and compliant with DOT and company standards. Fleet Type Mixed fleet including paratransit vehicles, wheelchair-accessible vans Key Responsibilities * Perform preventive maintenance and mechanical repairs on fleet vehicles * Diagnose mechanical, electrical, brake, suspension, and HVAC issues * Conduct safety inspections and ensure DOT compliance * Document all repairs and maintenance activities accurately * Identify and report vehicles out of service * Maintain a safe, organized work environment * Support fleet availability and operational uptime Qualifications * Minimum 3 years of fleet, paratransit, shuttle, or commercial vehicle maintenance experience * Automotive Technician experience required; ASE B-Level preferred or equivalent experience * Knowledge of DOT safety and inspection standards * Valid driver’s license required * Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work in a shop/outdoor environment * Strong attention to safety, quality, and detail Work Environment * Automotive shop and outdoor yard environment * Exposure to weather conditions, moving vehicles, and mechanical equipment Schedule * Full-time; flexible shifts may be required
