Summary: The Aseptic Cleaner will be responsible for weekly and overnight sanitization of the clean room manufacturing areas as well as material transfer. The position will also ensure that the detail, scheduling, and methods of cleaning are in compliance with regulations for maintaining the sterility of the clean rooms. Essential functions: Accurately measure and prepare the cleaning agents according to the Standard Operating Procedures. Provide an accurate record of daily and weekly cleaning activities according to the Standard Operating Procedures and Good Documentation Practices. Perform the weekly and overnight sanitization of classified and non-classified areas. Remove non-controlled waste material from the production areas to the appropriate waste disposal in a prompt and sanitary manner. Maintain general housekeeping of working area and plant. Maintain required cleaning equipment (PAPR’s included) and storage areas. Perform material sanitization with appropriate cleaning agents in accordance with the Standard Operating Procedures Wipe all material surfaces as directed following appropriate procedures to ensure complete sanitization. Transfer materials during sanitization processes, one tote at a time, to a clean, sanitized tote. Verify materials and documentation throughout processes including appropriate counts, materials, and documentation. Document contact time using proper forms and other information as required. Stock and maintain gowning materials. Follow the production schedule to place the correct order in each Laminar Air Flow Hood Perform additional duties as assigned. Requirements Required Qualifications & Experience: High School Diploma or equivalent. Experience in a sterile environment preferred. Desired Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Must have strong discipline and follow Standard Operating Procedures repeatedly. Must be able to learn gowning procedures and wear sterile Personal Protective Equipment, to include a respirator each day. Gain and maintain gowning certification. Physically capable of being on feet for up to 8 hours doing physical labor. Ability to perform strenuous work involving constant bending down, squatting, stretching and general agility to clean in difficult/hard to reach spaces.
