We are hiring - our Asia Channel Manager at Sandvik Business Area Intelligent Manufacturing. Are you looking for a new and exciting role in technical software sales in the manufacturing industry? We are looking for a motivated Asia Channel Manager to join our growing team at GibbsCam. You will be directly in charge of resellers for some countries where you will operate to develop and strengthen the relationships with resellers to support GibbsCAM business development in their territory. He contributes to the revenue growth of the region and manages the reseller’s growth targets. The role is ideal for candidates familiar with the CNC business, with good interpersonal skills. The person will be self-motivated, autonomous, strategic and hands-on to ensure execution of sales strategy and result focus driven to generate revenue. You will be an integral part of the GibbsCAM sales, applications and marketing team, spending your days in constant communication with teammates, internal stakeholders and your team helping drive business opportunities. Collect market data including the local competitive landscape Identify emerging markets and market shifts within your geographic area. Network, create & develop close, long-term relationships with partners, resellers and customers. Develop application stories for key applications at customer sites Investigate, analyze and select the right local trade shows and exhibitions Achieve growth and hit sales targets by successfully managing revenue in Asia and directly generating sales opportunities: Work with partners to create events and get GibbsCAM invited to exhibit Work with partners on customer turnkey projects. Represent GibbsCAM to these events. Present sales, revenue and expenses reports and realistic forecasts to the management. Resellers management: Knowledge transfer towards resellers in sales and application skills to make them efficient and successful in developing their given potential market: Collaborate with sales teams of resellers to understand customer requirements and provide sales support Support and execute given sales strategy for resellers Participate in sales presentations showcasing all technical features and processes, in exhibitions or workshops Support order fulfillment, e.g., open payments Recruit New Resellers: Identify the gap in the market, geographically and/or industry Look for new resellers to fill those gaps Define criteria for new resellers Plan and execute reseller onboarding and training Team Management: Own objectives setting, coaching and performance monitoring of sales and technical team, resellers, and partners in the respective region. Foster a high-performance culture. Manage activities and delegate appropriately to ensure team efficiency. Recruit, onboard and ensure employee development Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, and all relevant internal and external stakeholders, to define requirements and deliverables. Provide customer feedback and product requests to the product strategy manager and development team What we’re looking for: 10 years of experience and a superior track record of accomplishment in field sales Strong business development and channel experience. Proven to respond effectively to market direction, customer needs and major competitors’ positions. In-depth knowledge of selling software, services or technology-oriented solutions into diverse industries Skills & Abilities: Development of third-party distribution relationships Management skills in developing and executing sophisticated sales strategies, tactics, plans Entrepreneurial mindset Outstanding organizational skills Analytical abilities and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and public speaking skill (English & Japanese mandatory) Experienced with MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point) Experience with CRM (NetSuite, Oracle, Salesforce or similar) would be an added advantage Ability to be able to adapt to changes in technology Ability to work with various departments and personnel of partner organizations. Responsibilities
