Job Description Summary As the Asia Cluster and MY/SG Medical Head, you are responsible for providing strategic, scientific, and operational medical leadership across the Asia Cluster, while also directly overseeing Medical Affairs in Malaysia and Singapore. This role is critical in driving awareness, adoption, and policy engagement, positioning Sandoz as a trusted scientific partner to healthcare professionals, policy makers, and key external stakeholders. As the Asia Cluster and MY/SG Medical Head, you are responsible for providing strategic, scientific, and operational medical leadership across the Asia Cluster, while also directly overseeing Medical Affairs in Malaysia and Singapore. This role is critical in driving awareness, adoption, and policy engagement, positioning Sandoz as a trusted scientific partner to healthcare professionals, policy makers, and key external stakeholders. Your responsibilities include, but not limited to: Provide strategic medical leadership across Asia Cluster, ensuring alignment with Sandoz global and regional Medical Affairs strategy. Act as the primary medical authority for the cluster and Malaysia & Singapore markets, overseeing scientific strategy, evidence generation, and medical governance. Drive physician and policy maker education to support adoption, market penetration, and long-term growth. Ensure excellence in medical launch readiness for biosimilar products across the cluster. Lead and mentor high-performing medical teams across the region, fostering capability-building and development. Oversee cluster-level medical operations, including compliance, medical information, therapeutic area support, and medical training. Represent Sandoz in scientific forums, regulatory discussions, and market access engagements as the senior medical spokesperson. Collaborate cross-functionally with Commercial, Market Access, Public Affairs, Regulatory, and Policy teams to support business objectives. Role Requirements: Medical degree (MD) required; additional postgraduate qualifications (e.g., PhD, MSc, specialty training) preferred. Minimum 12–15 years of experience in Medical Affairs within multinational pharmaceutical/biotechnology companies. Strong above-country or regional leadership experience is essential. Deep scientific and operational knowledge of biosimilars, biologics, or related therapeutic areas. Demonstrated success in working with policy makers, regulatory bodies, and healthcare institutions. Proven track record of leading medical teams and driving strategic medical plans across multiple markets. Why Sandoz?
