Description
Company Description Bosch Sensortec GmbH is a technology leader in sensing solutions based on microelectromechanical systems (MEMS) and dedicated to the consumer electronics world. We develop and market key technologies for smartphones and tablets, hearables, wearables, smartglasses, augmented and virtual reality applications, gaming devices and many more. Our sensors improve people’s well-being and lifestyle and enable consumer electronic devices to sense the world around us. MEMS sensors are therefore an essential part of the foundation for a connected world. Bosch Sensortec GmbH is a wholly owned subsidiary of Robert Bosch GmbH. Job Description In our Dresden development center, we design the next generation of ASICs driving leading-edge consumer applications worldwide. As a part of our team, you will be at the heart of innovation, shaping the technology of tomorrow. We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Analog Design Expert to take responsibility for the analog designs of our advanced Mixed-Signal and System-on-Chip ASICs. Create Something New: You will be a key member in our interdisciplinary teams, developing analog ASIC modules for consumer ICs, driving them from the initial concept all the way through to final implementation, lab validation and the whole ASIC wafer test, characterization and qualification phases Ensure Reliable Implementation: You will uphold our “First Time Right” design philosophy by conducting comprehensive simulations on multiple abstraction levels; this includes detailed analysis with model (e.g. Verilog-A) and transistor levels (schematic & post-layout) Think Holistically: You will be responsible for deriving block-level specifications from system requirements, developing robust circuit concepts, and ensuring implementation and documentation are perfectly aligned; this requires close collaboration with our digital, layout, and test engineering teams Foster Networked Communication: You will thrive in an international environment, working and communicating with a globally distributed team of experts to achieve common goals Drive Conscientious Coordination: You will play an active role in the continuous improvement of our Analog Design methodologies, flows, and verification strategies, helping us stay at the forefront of the consumer industry Qualifications Personality: You possess a high level of enthusiasm, creativity, and a genuine willingness to collaborate within international and interdisciplinary teams Working Practice: You are an effective team player with a focused, methodical, and highly independent working style; ability to show leadership skills if needed Experience & Expertise: A minimum of 5 years of professional industry experience in analog design is mandatory; strong expertise with state-of-the-art Analog Design EDA tools is required, preferably within the Cadence (Virtuoso, PVS) and Siemens (Calibre) tool chains; deep knowledge of analog circuit design, including low-power circuit concepts, design trade-offs (e.g., current vs. area/noise), and a profound understanding of transistor-level effects in scaled technology nodes; comprehensive understanding of analog design methodologies; excellent grasp of analog modeling styles, abstraction levels, and layout of analog blocks; familiarity with Design-for-Testability (DfT) and knowledge in ASIC wafer test, characterization and qualification strategies as well as lab validation; proficiency in scripting/programming languages such as Python or confident usage of AI-powered tools is highly preferable Languages: Proficient English is mandatory; advanced German language skills are beneficial Education: A Degree (Diploma / M.Sc.) in Electrical Engineering or an equivalent field with good academic results is required Additional Information We offer great opportunities for mobile working as well as different part-time models or job-sharing. Feel free to contact us. Diversity and inclusion are not just trends for us but are firmly anchored in our corporate culture. Therefore, we welcome all applications, regardless of gender, age, disability, religion, ethnic origin or sexual identity. Bosch Sensortec GmbH is looking forward to your application!
