Description
About the role We are seeking a highly capable ASIC Test Specialist to support the validation and characterization of high-performance ICs for next-generation optical interconnect systems.  In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing test methodologies for analog, RF, and mixed-signal ASICs, with a focus on active optical links and transceiver chips. You will work closely with design and system teams to ensure accurate performance evaluation, debug issues, and enable successful silicon bring-up. This is a hands-on role requiring strong experience with lab instrumentation, chip-level measurements, and data analysis. Why Credo * Purpose: We invest in what matters. From meaningful-future shaping projects to competitive compensation, we empower you to grow your career while making a lasting impact. * People: Connection starts within. We collaborate, celebrate wins, and create an environment where everyone can do their best work. * Possibilities: Our belief shapes what’s next. Our technology powers the most reliable and energy-efficient connections around the world – and our team powers new products and markets that come next. Qualifications * BS or MS in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related field. * 2+ years of hands-on experience in testing and characterization of analog and/or RF ICs. * Strong experience with chip-level measurement equipment and lab setups. * Familiarity with high-speed or mixed-signal test methodologies. * Ability to analyze measurement data and debug complex system-level issues. * Strong attention to detail and disciplined experimental approach. Preferred Qualifications * Experience with optical transceivers or active optical link systems. * Familiarity with high-speed interfaces and signal integrity concepts. * Experience with automated test frameworks (Python, MATLAB, or similar). * Exposure to production test or NPI environments. * Develop and execute test plans for analog, RF, and mixed-signal ASICs. * Perform lab-based characterization and validation of transceiver and optical link performance. * Set up and operate chip measurement equipment (e.g., oscilloscopes, VNAs, spectrum analyzers, BER testers). * Support silicon bring-up, debugging, and performance optimization. * Collaborate with ASIC design teams to correlate measurement results with simulations. * Automate test procedures and analyze measurement data to ensure accuracy and repeatability. * Document test methodologies, results, and key findings. * Identify issues, root causes, and drive resolution in collaboration with cross-functional teams. About Credo Credo’s mission is to transform connectivity at scale through fast, reliable, and energy-efficient system solutions. Our high-speed copper and optical interconnect products deliver industry-leading power and performance at up to 1.6T to meet the ever-expanding data infrastructure demands of AI.
