JOB SUMMARY:

In this role, you will support project recruiting, screening, and processing efforts for a manual craft professional workforce. You will assist with document preparation, employment verifications, background submittals, pre-employment processing, and updating employee data in the HRIS system. Your efforts and attention to detail will contribute to ensuring a smooth and compliant hiring process.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

Requires Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Industrial/Labor Relations, Management, Industrial Engineering, technical career or any other related to the role and minimum 3 years of relevant experience in similar positions preferably in large scale, high value and complex EPC/EPCM projects or related to the Construction and mining Industry.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

  • Work experience in Cajamarca - Peru (desirable).
  • Preferably with knowledge of the current legal – labor regulations of the general labor regime and special regime of civil construction, as well as in the labor legal regulations of Safety and Health at Work.
  • Preferably with knowledge and command of the English language (spoken and written) at an intermediate level.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinating the recruitment, selection, accreditation and processing of manual professional employees and participate in the delivery of orientation for new manual employees.
  • Possessing competence in application tracking programs and employee data programs.
  • Can act as an LR/IR/WFS representative on a smaller construction or maintenance project.
  • Monitoring existing LR/IR/WFS programs to ensure desired goals and/or results are achieved.
  • Reviewing the documents / applications for accreditation and renewal of credentials of the company’s staff, contractors, suppliers and/or third parties.
  • Training the personnel of the subcontractors in the requirements of accreditation and to guide the contractors in the management of accreditation of their personnel, to advise the contractors so that they comply with the survey of the observations that result from the revisions of the documentation for the processes of accreditation of personnel and / or equipment.
  • Managing and verifying monthly that all contractors and subcontractors of the project comply with the renewals of the validity of their credentials, punctually complying with the delivery of documentation.
  • Keeping the accreditation database of all Bechtel accredited employees and contractors up-to-date.
