Responsibilities

WHAT THE ROLE DELIVERS

This role is responsible for post-harvest technical assistance and after-sales support for our customers, providing support to the operations, commercial, and development departments of AgroFresh, with a strong emphasis on fresh fruit treatments, the use of automation technologies and sustainability marked by ControlTEC, promotion, demonstration, and demand generation, lines of products developed for cleaning, sanitizing, disinfecting, fungicide application, coatings, and waxing of fruits post-harvest.
This position reports directly to the Regional Manager of Packline Solutions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

In order of relative importance

  • Provide professional support to the various areas of the company to accomplish the objectives set by the regional technical management in the assigned geographic area.
  • Ensure optimal performance in resolving concerns related to innovation, application, development, and improvement of application technologies.
  • Contribute to the development and optimization of marketed assets and services offered by the company.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with internal teams to ensure the effective implementation of technical solutions aligned with business needs.
  • Strengthen the commercial relationship with direct and indirect customers who use lease equipment and products/services for fresh fruit treatments post-harvest within the assigned area.
  • Execute a field visit program, ensuring the achievement of commercial objectives and providing technical support to customers.
  • Conduct training, coordinate sampling plans, supervise equipment maintenance, and execute product and service demonstrations to optimize their use and development.
