The Apple Store Online Readiness Manager will lead a high-performing team of program managers responsible for strategizing, planning and successfully managing the launch of Apple products and programs worldwide. Aligning people, process and technologies, the Manager’s team will ensure the integrity of the launch moment and enhanced by delivering an exceptional customer experience. The Apple Store Online Readiness Manager is the advocate for the customer and represents the voice of Apple Store Online with partner teams, across Marketing, Commercial, Finance, Content & Online Buy Flow, Supply Chain Operations, Engineering, Legal and external partners.

DESCRIPTION

The Apple Store Online Readiness Manager is a natural leader and facilitator; a strategic thinker who can “connect the dots” at multiple levels; is driven, organized and detail oriented; communicates with ease at all levels; is adept at facilitating actions and resolving conflicts; manages through relationships and influence; thrives in a dynamic ambiguous environment; and displays grace under fire. In this role, you will be responsible managing and mentoring a team of contributors to deliver strategic Online priorities. Responsibilities of the team will include: managing the detailed Online plan of record, connecting across multiple groups within and outside the Retail Organization, managing program timelines and deliverables, and ensuring smooth operations of all execution workstreams. With precise and agile management, the manager owns the integrity of the NPI, Promotions and Sustaining Operations launches, and ensure a seamless and best in class end-to-end Online experience. Responsibilities: - Lead a team of individual contributors responsible for managing changes to Apple Store Online and partner platforms. This team of program managers collaborates across various cross-functional regional and global teams to plan, execute and risk manage small to large size projects (NPI, Promotions, Sustaining changes) impacting the Apple Store Online - Cultivate a positive and motivating work environment by promoting teamwork, diversity, inclusion and focusing on positive employee relationships. Coach, guide and develop each individual in their growth and career journey. - Promote a culture of raising the bar, being real and caring deeply about Apple’s customers and team members - Support closed loop management system creating efficiency, scalability and reducing customer escalations & contacts.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • 6+ years program management experience, managing and delivering strategic initiatives, showcasing ability to connect workstreams to business priorities, strong influencing skills & coordinating members from a broad cross-functional team to work towards one goal/outcome
  • Proven ability to lead by example and develop team members
  • Experience implementing projects or initiatives showcasing strong influencing skills & coordinating members from varying teams to work towards one goal/outcome
  • Experience working cross-functionally across multiple levels of a highly matrixed organization
  • English business proficiency

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • BA/BS in Business Management or equivalent experience, MBA/MA or advanced degree preferred
  • People management and organisation skills experience
  • Experience in eCommerce, Internet, or multi-channel environment with relevant technical and business acumen
  • Demonstrated success in influencing strategy and direction through data driven insights.
  • Exceptional communication, storytelling, and presentation skills.Demonstrates Apple’s values of inclusion and diversity.
