JOB OVERVIEW

Goode Paving & Sealcoating Inc. is seeking an experienced Asphalt Paving Estimator/Project Manager to oversee both the estimating and management of residential and commercial paving projects. This role blends project management expertise with a strong background in outside sales to ensure high-quality results, satisfied clients, and profitable growth. You will work closely with the leadership team to develop proposals, manage project execution, and maintain strong client relationships - all while contributing to the success of our small but rapidly growing company.

QUALIFICATIONS

• 3+ years of experience in construction project management, with proven outside sales success.
• Strong knowledge of asphalt paving, civil construction, or sitework projects.
• Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to maintain positive client and team relationships.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contracts.
• Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Team player with a willingness to adapt and grow within a small business environment.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

• Prepare detailed cost estimates, bids, and proposals for asphalt paving and sitework projects.
• Manage project schedules, budgets, and resources from contract award through completion.
• Maintain strong communication with clients, subcontractors, and vendors throughout each project.
• Conduct site visits for project evaluation, measurement, and progress monitoring.
• Negotiate contracts and pricing to ensure profitability while maintaining client satisfaction.
• Oversee field operations to ensure work meets quality, safety, and schedule requirements.
• Collaborate with the sales team to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
• Handle change orders, project documentation, and final project closeouts.
• Support company growth by taking on additional responsibilities as needed.
