Nau mai, haere mai ki a Fulton Hogan | Join us at Fulton Hogan We’re looking for an experienced Asphalt Paving Operator to join our Auckland Paving Crew in Wiri. You’ll operate paving plant, support safe and efficient asphalt works, and help deliver quality results across Auckland. Mō te tūranga | About the role This is a site-based role working across a range of asphalt paving projects throughout Auckland. You’ll work outdoors in a practical, team-focused environment where safety, quality and reliability matter. Your work will help build and maintain the roads and surfaces our communities rely on every day. Ngā kawenga matua | Key responsibilities Operate paving machinery including asphalt pavers, rollers, excavators and other equipment. Set up, calibrate and maintain paving equipment to keep work safe, efficient and up to standard. Monitor paving works to ensure asphalt and other materials are applied evenly and accurately. Take part in pre-start meetings and follow safe work practices, with a clear focus on hazards and risks. Kei te kimi mātou i tētahi e whai ana i ēnei pūkenga | We’re looking for someone with Proven experience operating asphalt pavers, rollers and excavators in a construction or civil environment, including the ability to safely and accurately lay asphalt to the required width, depth and finish. A Class 1 Driver Licence with WTR endorsements, with Class 2 preferred. Confidence working in a fast-moving, team-focused crew. Willingness to support labouring duties and work hands-on outdoors in varying conditions. Flexibility to work day shifts, night shifts and weekends when required.
