Overview Become a Screed Operator at Suncore! Join Suncore as a skilled Screed Operator responsible for the safe and efficient placement of hot mix asphalt and operation of paving equipment. We are seeking candidates with demonstrated experience, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to safety. Key Responsibilities: Place hot mix asphalt using a variety of paving equipment safely and efficiently. Perform daily pre- and post-operation inspections. Set up pavers and screeds for diverse project needs. Assist paving foremen and operators with job layout. Rake, shovel, and maintain equipment as required. Contribute to a team-oriented work environment and perform additional duties as assigned. Requirements: Minimum age of 18. Experience operating pavers and screeds for hot mix asphalt placement. Familiarity with automatic grade control systems. Understanding of asphalt paving procedures. Strong safety awareness, teamwork skills, and work ethic. Benefits At Suncore, we value people.
