An opportunity has become available for an Asphalt Supervisor to join our team based in Tivendale, Northern Territory. In this role you will lead and coordinate personnel, whilst managing the plant, suppliers and resources to successfully complete project works on time, on budget and achieve Downer's Zero Harm objective. Key Responsibilities * Ensure all operations comply with Downer's values, policies and safety standards. * Achieve agreed project objectives related to time, cost, quality and safety. * Promote high-performance behaviours and support team development. * Lead toolbox meetings and ensure policy and procedure updates are clearly communicated. * Allocate resources to maximise productivity and project success. * Encourage near-miss reporting and support safety engagement targets. What you’ll bring: * Certificate 3 in Civil Construction or other related field preferred. * 5+ years exposure in asphalt surfacing or civil road construction with knowledge of road surfacing procedures and the bituminous surfacing industry. * Proven supervisory experience. * Successful track record with planning, organising and time management. * Recognised ability to lead & drive accountability throughout the workforce. * Demonstrated ability with building relationships with key stakeholders. * Lead by example and continually promote relevant aspects of Zero Harm when engaging with operational teams.
