Who you are:

  • You may be an existing Deputy Manager or Care coordinator with a minimum of 3 years of experience.
  • Your experience will be based within a social care setting supporting adults or children with learning disabilities, autism, and/or mental health needs.
  • You will have an NVQ level 3 or equivalent in Health & Social care, or a willingness/ability to work towards.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to listen attentively to others.
  • Experience of supervising and supporting staff and deploying staff resources efficiently to meet the needs of the service.
  • Ability to manage costs and allocate resources in line with budgetary requirements.
  • Ability to conduct risk assessments with the people we support and devise support and risk management plans.
  • You will embrace continuous improvement, sharing best practices with an open mind to learning.
  • Able to work as an effective member of the Management Team and able to communicate and share our vision, views, and decisions to the wider site in a unified, educated effective manner.
  • Flexible with the ability to cover all shift patterns / on call and weekends.
  • Driver and have your own vehicle with business use.
