EdEx are exclusively working with a mainstream secondary school in Bexley to find x2 Teaching Assistants (Aspiring Speech and Language Therapist - Teaching Assistant) to work in the schools Speech, Communication and Language provision, supporting children with various needs including Speech and Language, Communication, Social, Autism (Verbal and Non-Verbal) needs & more!

WHAT EXPERIENCE WILL YOU NEED TO DO THESE ASPIRING SPEECH AND LANGUAGE THERAPIST - TEACHING ASSISTANT ROLES?

• A graduate with a 1st Class or 2:1 - subject isn’t a barrier, ideally from a reputable university
• Good A-Levels and GCSEs - including English at GCSE
• Previous experience supporting children, young people or adolescents - Essential

• This can be tutoring, nannying, babysitting, volunteering or personal experience!

• A genuine passion for supporting young people with barriers to learning

ROLE DETAILS - ASPIRING SPEECH AND LANGUAGE THERAPIST - TEACHING ASSISTANT:

• Teaching Assistant - Supporting various needs and SP&L
• Monday to Friday - No weekends
• School Hours - typically 8:30am - 4:00pm
• £105 - £115 per day - paid weekly (Term Time Only)
• September 2025 Starts
• Long term contract - at least for an academic year - September 2025 to July 26 (scope for a permanent contract if interested from Sept 26)
