Allied Motion, an Allient Inc. company, is in growth mode and currently seeking ASSEMBLERS to join our team in Watertown, New York!  This critical role helps assist in the manufacturing and assembly of motion control products and systems and motor components. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly motivated, organized, and self-motivated individual to work in an established reputable manufacturing company! Apply now! Responsibilities: * Loads and unload previously setup machines, to perform fastening, force fitting, or light metal-cutting operation on assembly line. * Inspects components and assemblies both visually and using inspection tools as required. * Uses prints, job orders, operations methods sheets (OMS), work instructions and other specifications to ensure that proper and within specification materials and tools are utilized. * Inventories (cycle counts) materials in work area. * Prepares required documentation. Minimum Qualifications: * High school education or equivalent. * Must be able to read and interpret drawings, follow routers, use simple math, and use basic hand-held measuring tools. * Good manual dexterity to manipulate small objects. * Ability to read blueprints, calipers, and micrometers. Soldering, lead wiring, and forming experience is a plus. Physical Demands: * Ability to stand for long periods of time with periodic sitting and bending.  * Periodically may need to lift 10 to 30 pounds. * Consistent use of both hands using repetitive motion.
