Description Local Top Workplace looking for an assembler to join our team and take the lead on our growing sheet metal assembly work cell. Flexible 1st shift hours and great working culture!!! Great opportunity for someone with some mechanical assembly experience looking to learn or expand their skills into more complex mechanical or electrical assemblies in a better work environment and culture. Position Responsible For: Complete basic mechanical & electrical assemblies, including all sub assemblies and final units Use standard hand tools and review basic assembly prints and schematics Assist in routine functional testing and quality inspections as required Assist in documenting work instructions/processes Assist in other secondary cells as needed for basic machine operation Starting pay based on applicable/related manufacturing and assembly experience. Requirements 1 or more years experience in assembly work preferred but not necessarily required, will consider candidates with other manufacturing background Detail and efficiency orientated Willing to work overtime as needed Strong mechanical aptitude and problem solving abilities Must be able to regularly lift up to 40lbs and stand for 8-10 hours/day
Responsibilities
The assembler is responsible for completing basic mechanical and electrical assemblies and sub-assemblies using standard hand tools. They will also assist in functional testing, quality inspections, and the documentation of work processes.
