  ** This is a temporary position with potential to become full-time - the successful applicant will be referred to Walker Staffing Services.  2nd Shift Hours: 2:00 pm - 12:30 am, Monday through Thursday (4-10 Schedule). Potential for overtime. Job Description: Level 1 Assembler    Level 1 Assembler Job Purpose:  Level 1 assemblers are trained in assembly of product but have not received certification as final assembler.  This associate is classified as an assistant and or working towards certification.  Level 1 Assembler Job Duties: * Demonstrates the ability to assist in all final assembly positions * General production help * Tapping sleeve final assembly * Ultra-sleeve final assembly * TX3 final assembly * Repair Clamp final assembly * Operate production equipment in accordance with current good manufacturing practices and standard operating procedures * Build product subassemblies or final assemblies * Prepare and assemble materials * Maintain inventory of job materials * Package finished products * Plan and lay out work to meet production and schedule requirements * Start up and shut down processing equipment * Adhere to all applicable regulations, policies, and procedures for health, safety, and environmental compliance * Clean production equipment or work areas * Select proper cleaning materials, tools, or equipment Skills/Qualifications: Teamwork, Coordination, Organization, Planning, Time Management, Reporting Skills, Inventory Control, Dependability  
Responsibilities
