Description

Meet team-based production goals by assembling small and large components to form sub-assemblies using hand tools, air tools, rivet guns in a fast paced manufacturing environment. Operate the base robot and sub assembly machines. Build devices per drawing, routing, and work instructions. Perform quality checks consistent with the Inspection and control plans. Conduct inventory/replenish parts to assembly stations. Use the Kanban system to assure availability of parts Read orders and drawings to determine assembly procedures such as component types and configuration, mounting locations and clearances required. Maintain equipment and work areas in a clean and orderly manner and maintain 5S in the area Work side by side with team members to achieve team-based production goals Working knowledge of assembly machinery and tools Work with various groups of employees in team-based environment, cross train on all assembly lines and help train new employees. Perform other duties, as assigned by supervisor Ability to work mandatory overtime as needed Must have a minimum of six months work experience Must have a High school diploma/GED from an accredited institution No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of (enter location) will be considered. Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation. Must have a minimum of six months experience in an assembly related role with the use of hand and/or power tools (experience in automotive repairs, construction, carpentry, or other assembly type environments will be considered) OR a minimum of 6 months previous manufacturing, military, or related experience.
