Position Assemblers are responsible for building surface maintenance equipment according to blueprints and written specifications. Responsibilities * Assembles component parts for products according to established specifications, schedules, and standards of quality. * Fits, trims, aligns, and adjusts parts and components, along with attaching hardware and sealing assembly. * Solders, lugs, routes, and ties electrical components, along with calibrating unit according to specification(s). * Tests installed parts and accessories for leakage, continuity, and functionality, along with performing inspections to ensure assemblies comply with applicable requirements. * Cleans and lubricates parts and assemblies, along with reworks, repairs, or replacing faulty component parts. Qualifications * Be able to read blueprints, wiring diagrams, process sheets, and schematic drawings. * Fasten parts together with bolts, screws, rivets, or other fasteners. * Use a variety of hand and power tools along with inspection equipment, and crate, pack, and move finished goods. * Report lot codes of components used in assemblies, and recording assemblies built. * Disassemble, replace parts, and assist in staging parts for painting as required. * Enters information into established computer system, production records, logs, time clock, and other forms.
