This Position reports to:
Superviseur De Production
Based in Quebec City and reporting to the Production Supervisor, the Assembler supports the business unit in achieving its production goals by adhering to systems and processes. The business unit produces chemical analyzers for various markets.

THE ASSEMBLER MUST HAVE THE FOLLOWING QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience in electronic, mechanical, or optical assembly (an asset).
  • Strong learning ability and sharp analytical skills.
  • Demonstrate autonomy, responsibility, and versatility.
  • Combine high quality standards with efficiency.
  • Be meticulous and skilled with hands-on tasks.
  • Possess good analytical thinking.
  • Enjoy problem-solving.
  • A vocational diploma in one of the following fields: Electromechanics of automated systems, Stationary machine mechanics, Welding and fitting, or Metal structure and wrought metal fabrication (an asset).
  • A college diploma in physics, electronics, or a related field (an asset).
Responsibilities
  • Perform optical, mechanical, and electronic assembly of our analyzers.
  • Carry out quality control of these analyzers.
  • Conduct final testing to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Follow established processes.
  • Troubleshoot issues encountered during assembly and testing.
  • Align with ABB’s core values of safety and integrity, meaning taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues and the company.
