Description
Assemble and teardown of routine mechanical assemblies, subassemblies and final assemblies of simple to moderate complexity product line that includes commercial and military customers. Reports to the Production Supervisor/Manager in CSO. Will also obtain direction from department lead. Perform lock wire/safety wire, nameplate, assembly of mechanical assemblies and subassemblies. Ensure activities are performed correctly and proper tooling and documentation is used. Material preparation including lapping of surfaces with proper tooling techniques and compounds. Interpret blueprints, verbal, and/or written instructions Work with others to complete assemblies Perform visual inspection and identify any defective items and handle according to established procedures May be temporarily reassigned to cover workload in other areas of production as necessary. Works effectively in a diverse environment, respecting different ideas, perspectives, and values of others on teams, as well as within own department and in general day-to-day interactions. High School diploma, GED or equivalent from an accredited institution is required. No relocation benefit is offered for this position. Only candidates residing within 50 miles of Los Angeles, CA facility will be considered for this position. Legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future. This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
