Experience in mechanical or electrical assembly needed. Responsibilities Include: Read/interpret drawings and blueprints Work to standard operating procedures or work instructions Perform assembly operations to produce complete product directed by manufacturing schedules Use various fixtures, hand tools and special tools, gauges, and assembly tools to assemble, modify, measure, cut, drill, adjust, test, or repair products Perform quality control visual inspections or functional operation of material/ product before and after assembly Utilize good problem solving and troubleshooting skills to check electrical and mechanical performance of completed assemblies Notify supervision discrepancies of work orders, material lists, assembly instructions or equipment malfunctions Coordinate /communicate with supervisors and leads Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition Follow prescribed safety regulations The Perks: Climate controlled manufacturing Monday- Thursday, 6:30am- 5pm; or Monday- Friday, 7:00am- 3:30pm once trained Full benefits including medical, dental, and vision Company paid life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability 401k and company match Product discounts across Middleby companies We encourage fresh air and activity through recreational activities offered during breaks and lunch Other: Full time This position is defined as a safety sensitive position. Requirements High School Diploma or GED Minimum 1 year related experience Knowledge and ability to utilize computers and related technology effectively Must be able to perform basic math skills Must have a mechanical aptitude, familiarity with tools and measuring tools Must have ability to read and interpret visual aids such as drawings/ blueprints Desired Skills: Experience in manufacturing environment a plus Experience in reading electrical diagrams a plus Experience in wiring control panels a plus The ideal candidate: Has experience in a manufacturing environment Has a willingness to learn Promotes a team environment Demonstrates a positive attitude Physical Requirements: While performing the duties of this position, the candidate is required regularly to talk and listen.
