Description
Perform assembly and/or test on products for aerospace industry Follow work orders, engineering drawings, and visual/written work instructions to safely and accurately assemble components. Use automated equipment, manual equipment, and hand tools to crimp, stake, bolt, rivet, solder, cement, press fit or perform similar operations to secure or join parts. Performs intermediate assembly tasks such as potting, epoxy bonding, curing, painting, etc. Assist in resolving production failures or product issues. Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in product safety, quality, delivery, efficiency and communicate by posting interrupters on tier 1 board. Work in a team environment that promotes continuos flow assembly Measuring with basic instruments MINIMUM EDUCATIONAL AND QUALIFICATION NEEDED TO PERFORM ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS High School Diploma or GED from accredited institution Must be able to use manual equipment, and hand tools to crimp, stake, bolt, rivet, solder, cement, press fit or perform similar operations to secure or join parts. Must reside within a 50 mile radius of this location (no relocation benefit) Legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorfhip. US person within the meaning of ITAR. ITAR defines a US person as a US Citizen, US Permanent Resident (Green Card Holder), Political Asylee, or Refugee Technical School / Apprenticeship Experience with electronic testing and equipment including multimeters, dielectric machines, etc. Blueprint reading
