Description

As an Electrical Wire Assembler, you will be responsible for performing duties required to complete assembly of units. This includes but is not limited to; working from specifications, blueprints, diagrams, written and verbal instructions and standard methods.
Reporting directly to the Production Supervisor for Cleveland Range, this position is based at our facility in Concord, ON*.

Key Tasks & Responsibilities:

  • Perform duties to install a variety of parts, fixtures, sub-assemblies, components, wiring, and accessories in the assembly of a unit.
  • Work from customer orders, specifications, blueprints, diagrams, written and verbal instructions.
  • Check order for options; visually check parts for correct selection and set-up procedure.
  • Position, secure, mount, fit and install assemblies as prescribed.
  • Check installed parts for proper fit and alignment; fasteners and fittings for proper positioning; proper routing and connecting of lines and wiring. Make adjustments as necessary.
  • Use of wrenches, drills, power grinders, tube bending, cutters, and other hand tools.
  • Use of measuring devices for adherence to specifications.
  • Exercise proper care in the use of tools, equipment, and materials.
  • Complete all required reports, records and production information.
  • Detect and report faulty equipment, improper operations, and unusual conditions to supervision.
  • Observe all prescribed safety rules and regulations and maintain work area in a neat and orderly condition.
  • Perform other duties as assigned or directed.
  • Wage rate for this role is $17.56 per hour.

Qualifications:

Education & Experience:

  • Minimum of 1 years of prior relevant experience is preferred.
  • Highschool diploma or equivalent is required.

Skills & Abilities:

  • Must be able to use small hand tools.
  • Ability to read blueprints, diagrams and written instructions.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with team members
