Essential Functions: Assemble parts using basic tools in a timely manner Must have excellent visual attention to detail Maintain accurate counts of items assembled Log in and out of work order control system Perform Testing, Engraving, and/or Packaging Maintain clean working environment Perform the job with minimal supervision Due to the nature of the work, non-productive interaction with fellow employees must be kept to a minimum Perform other assignments as assigned Requirements Qualifications Education/Experience/Skills: High School Diploma or equivalent Basic Math Skills (measuring, use of calculator) Ability to carry out detailed written and verbal instructions Must be comfortable using a computer tablet 2 years of Assembly work experience for a manufacturing company is a plus! Language Skills: Must be able to read and comprehend detailed, technical instructions written in English Must be fluent in English and have very good verbal communication skills Physical Demands: Hands must have dexterity to handle and manipulate small metal pieces Must frequently lift up to 15 pounds and occasionally lift up to 25 pounds When performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, use hands to finger or handle or feel objects and tools or controls and talk and hear Employee is frequently required to reach with fingers, hands and arms Employee is occasionally required to stand, or walk Specific vision abilities require close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
