Our ideal candidates: Are people who are personally motivated to produce high-quality work Are lifelong learners – driven to continually improve Are well organized Enjoy working in a team environment Job Summary: The primary function of the Assembler is to assemble & test components into finished goods following engineering drawings and/or instruction from the Assembly Manager and Assistant Assembly Manager using various tools and fixtures. Essential Functions: Assemble, parts using basic tools, in a timely manner Test assembled parts using water, air / gas pressure Visually inspect parts during assembly process Preforming duties such as engraving and or packaging Maintain accurate counts of items assembled Must be clean, neat and organized Must be exceptionally detail oriented Uses tablet system to receive & update work orders Maintain clean working environment Perform the job with minimal supervision Perform other assignments as required by the Assembly Manager and Assistant Assembly Manager Requirements Qualifications: Education/Experience/Skills: High School Diploma or equivalent Basic Math Skills (measuring, use of calculator) Must be able to interpret diagrams Ability to comprehend basic engineering concepts and units of measure (pressure, length, flow rate, etc.) Ability to read and comprehend work-related materials, instructions, and documentation written in English Ability to communicate effectively in English with team members, supervisors, and other stakeholders Ability to follow detailed written and verbal instructions provided in English Ability to understand and complete verbal and written training materials presented in English Physical Demands: Must frequently lift up to 15 pounds and occasionally lift up to 25 pounds When performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, use hands to finger or handle or feel objects and tools or controls, must be able to see, talk and hear Specific vision abilities require close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
