Notify Assembly Lead or area supervisor of any problems relating to safety, quality or production. Must make safety a priority, deliver safety messages assist employees with safety related issues and concerns. Perform assembly procedures assigned by the Assembly Lead Ability to read manufacturing drawings and work instructions Utilize arbor press, insert installation tools, torque wrenches, precision measuring equipment, riveters, manual vertical mill, various hand tools, sealants, paint, and oils to complete assemblies Keeps product flowing by meeting production efficiency standards Observe all company policies, rules and regulations including good housekeeping, safety and security. Recommends measures to improve efficiency and production. Inspects products to verify conformance to customer and company specifications Assists fellow assembly workers in solving work problems. Trains employees on the proper operation of various equipment, work procedures and documentation necessary to produce products of consistent quality. Perform other duties as required, assigned or directed. Job Specifications: Assembly or line production experience preferred. Strong communication skills. Ability to solve practical problems. Basic hand tool knowledge required
