Description SUMMARY Performs repetitive bench or line assembly operations to mass-produce products commonly weighing 50 to 100 pounds by performing the following duties. This position may require overtime to include weekends. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Places parts in specified relationship to each other according to work instructions and/or prints that are provided. Updates work instructions as procedures change. Bolts, clips, screws, cements, or otherwise fastens parts together and performs quality inspection of completed parts. Packs completed parts. Works at different work stations as production needs require and maintains organization of work areas. Reworks parts for assembly as required. Conducts month-end inventory of completed and in-process parts. Receives and gives backup support from other assembly or production personnel. May work in other areas of either plant based on production requirements. May be required to work off shifts as needed. LANGUAGE Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Write routine reports and correspondence. Speak effectively before groups of customers or employees. MATHEMATICAL Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to draw and interpret bar graphs. REASONING ABILITY Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
