Job Summary The Assembler I supports the assembly of aerospace components and subassemblies in a regulated manufacturing environment. This entry-level role focuses on learning basic assembly techniques, following work instructions, and supporting production schedules while maintaining quality and safety standards. Job Duties and Responsibilities: Perform basic mechanical assembly operations following written work instructions Use hand tools, fixtures, and simple measuring equipment to complete assigned tasks Support assembly of parts, hardware installation, and component preparation Maintain clean, organized work areas in accordance with 5S and safety practices Follow aerospace quality requirements including documentation and traceability procedures Identify and communicate assembly issues or nonconformances to supervisors or quality personnel Work effectively with team members to meet production goals and deadlines Requirements Required Knowledge and Skills: 0–2 years of manufacturing or assembly experience(training provided) Ability to follow detailed instructions and work in a structured environment Comfortable using basic hand tools and performing repetitive tasks Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn Dependable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team Education and Experience: High School Diploma/GED Equivalent required Work Environment / Physical Demands: Primarily production floor environment Often exposed to loud, bustling or dusty environments Regularly required to sit and stand. Frequently required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls and to climb or balance. Occasionally required to walk; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; and talk or hear. Must be able to regularly lift and move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
