POSITION OVERVIEW

As a Qualified Assembler, you will be responsible for assembling mechanical and/or electro-mechanical components and products according to specifications. This position requires a high level of attention to detail, strong manual dexterity, and a commitment to safety and quality.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience in an industrial assembly or manufacturing role
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, BOMs, and assembly instructions
  • Skilled in using basic hand and power tools, as well as measuring devices (e.g. calipers, tape measures)
  • Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity
  • Physically able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
  • Basic computer literacy
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills
Responsibilities
  • Assemble parts and products based on engineering drawings, work orders, and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
  • Use a variety of hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments to ensure accuracy
  • Perform inspections to ensure finished products meet quality standards
  • Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area
  • Identify and report any issues with parts, tools, or processes
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production targets
  • Assist in continuous improvement efforts and adhere to lean manufacturing principles
  • Operate forklifts, overhead cranes, or other material handling equipment (if certified)
